ABOUT A Founding IIJL Member Nation, USIL is responsible for selecting and training teams for international competition including the IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championships, and strives to serve the sport through its core objectives: Build the Base, Promote the Sport, Achieve Competitive Success. 

As an IIJL Founding Member, operated by the US Indoor Lacrosse, the United States competes at each and every IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship. In preparation for the 2023 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship, Team USA will be holding six (6) Tryouts across the United States. Each Tryout will provide players the opportunity to work closely with Team USA staff in a controlled environment to showcase their athleticism, skill, and lacrosse IQ in preparation for the 2023 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship. 

Team USA is accepting interest to participate (complete the form below) from eligible players ages twenty (20) to sixteen (16) who are interested in traveling to one-of-six Tryouts. Players must be born on or between January 1, 2003 – December 31, 2007. Therefore, a player must not be or be turning twenty one (21) years of age in 2023. Interested players must be American citizens with a valid passports and birth certificates.

Open to US born citizens with a valid passport or any player who qualifies under the eligibility requirement conditions. Players must be born on or between January 1, 2003 – December 31, 2007, between twenty (20) to sixteen (16), and not be or be turning twenty one (21) years of age in 2023.

Submission of this Interest to Participate form does not guarantee a prospective player a spot on the United States 2023 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship roster or serve as a tryout reservation. Once an Interest to Participate form is submitted an US Indoor Lacrosse staff member will contact and provide the prospective player with further information and instructions. Qualified prospective players are encouraged to complete the Interest to Participate form immediately as the selection process will be expedited to prepare for the 2023 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship.
