Australia Announces First Fourteen Players Selected for 2022 WJLC

MELBOURNE, VIC — Returning for their second World Juniors, Australian Box Lacrosse is proud to announce the first fourteen (14) players selected to represent Australia at the 2022 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship taking place August 8-14, 2022 at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. 

“We are extremely excited to announce the first round of players that will represent Australia at the 2022 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship in Canada” said Ric Benedierks Australia General Manager. “These players have made a commitment to each other to compete in a world-class event and gain valuable box lacrosse and international experience.” Benedierks added. "Similar to our process in 2019, now that we have announced the first round of players select our efforts now shifts to securing our remaining spots to round out our roster."

The remaining nine (9) spots of Australia's available 23 Man Final Roster will be announced in July in preparation for the 2022 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship which will take place August 8-14 in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.
