Canada Defeats United States 16-7

SASKATOON, SK - Game three of the K+S Potash Canada 2018 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship round-robin completed with an exciting and memorable game that saw Canada defeat the United States by a score of 16-7. 

Leading in points for the game for United States was Michael Fricke with 2 Goals and 1 Assists. Canada we led in scoring again by Tanner Buck with 3 Goals and 3 Assist. United States goalie Darius Miller had an outstanding performance in net making 44 Saves on 60 Shots. 

The round-robin is now complete and final standings are as follows:

  1. Canada
  2. Iroquois 
  3. United States

Iroquois and Canada will now play in the K+S Potash 2018 World Junior Lacrosse Championship Gold Medal game on Sunday August 12th at 7:30PM CT at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, SK.
