Paul Stewart Named German Head Coach

BERLIN, GERMANY – With the 2016 Aleš Hřebeský Memorial now over, we can focus mainly on the U19 Adler program. The Adler are registered to play in the 2nd annual World Lacrosse Challenge in Six Nations August 24-28th. If you are interested in playing with the Adler please email adlerlacrosse@gmail.com.

We are excited to announce that Paul Stewart will be the Head Coach of the U19 team. Stewart comes with a very impressive coaching past thats including; 2 time MSL coach of the year, 7 years in the NLL and 2 in the MLL, Offensive coordinator for team Canada senior men’s field lacrosse, Offensive coordinator for 2009 major-league lacrosse champion Toronto Nationals, Technical Director Cali Lax and USBoxla California, Edge Lacrosse Canada 2023 coach. Stewart is currently the Head Coach of the Brampton Excelsiors of the MSL.

Joining Stewart on the bench this year will be the Co-Coaches from a year ago; Scott Komer who coaches with Stewart in Brampton will be running the back door and the goaltenders, and Jamie Plunkett who will be working with the offence and will remain as GM. Brian Tyacke unfortunately can’t make the tournament this year do to work commitments.

Operations Manager Wayne Paddick is back for another tournament with the Adler. Paddick who is the man behind the Wilmot Wild Lacrosse Club, which is well known for their professionalism. Mike Orser also remains in the same position as Equipment Manager.
