WLC Rebrands to World Junior Lacrosse Championship
SIX NATIONS - The U19 World Lacrosse Challenge is getting a new name. International Indoor Lacrosse (IIJL) has purchased the rights to the U19 World Lacrosse Challenge and rebranded as the World Junior Lacrosse Championship (WJLC). The IIJL will operate the World Junior Lacrosse Championship as an annual event.
The 2016 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship will be played August 24-28th 2016 at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Six Nations. “We are very excited about the name change”, said Gewas Schindler who is the tournament director. “We are looking at making the tournament even bigger than last year with having more countries participating this year.”
